Carlton Rider, Principal |
Glad Tidings and a
big thank you to the members of our Band and
Honor’s Choir for their musical program that
was presented this past Tuesday in our gym.
As I have said throughout the year, there is
much musical talent here at St. Mary School,
it takes somebody like Mrs.Wettersten to
bring it out and our parents to make sure
that their children practice at home. The
selections were varied and a good mix of
vocal and instrumental selections dotted the
program. Again, congratulations on a job
well done!
Glad Tidings also to Gillian Baker, a 5th
grade student, on receiving a $50.00 bond at
this year’s Regional Invention Convention
held recently at COSI. I believe Gillian is
the first student from our school to receive
such an honor. Congratulations Gillian! A
reminder that students will need to bring
their lunches to school June 1st through
June 3rd. There will be no cafeteria service
or milk available those days.
Kindergarten promotion will take place on
Wednesday, June 3rd in our gym beginning at
7:00 p.m.
June 4th is the last day of school. There
will be an awards ceremony in church
beginning at 12:15 p.m. during which time
those students in grades 6, 7, 8 who made
the honor roll this year, as well as our
altar servers, will be recognized. Parents
are invited to attend. Benediction will take
place at 12:45 p.m. in church for all our
students and dismissal will be at 1:30 p.m.
Our 8th grade graduation will be held at
7:00 p.m. in church on June 4th.
