Welcome to our St. Mary School Website!
Our website will provide you with
information concerning our school and its
many activities. Along with these activities
we will also share with you our Mission
Statement and beliefs, information from our
Advisory Board meetings, Home and School
meetings, and various academic programs made
available to our students. Together, as a
community of parents and educators, we have
dedicated ourselves to educating our
children to be caring and compassionate
Catholic Christians in their daily living as
collaborative workers, critical thinkers,
and life-long learners. We believe that your
child's success depends on a spirit of
cooperation and efforts by school and
parents in partnership. We welcome the
opportunity to share with you the goal of
creating an academic environment where
children flourish.
We at St. Mary School consider communications with our
parents to be of utmost importance, as
evidenced by our website, our
Parent Handbook,
and our weekly Thursday Folder. I will also
be communicating weekly with our parents on
our website with the link
Thursday Thoughts.
Please take time to become familiar with all
that will be shared on our website.

Our Mission
Statement
The
mission of St. Mary School is to witness
the Gospel and to share the spiritual
traditions of Catholicism. Our program, in
partnership with parents, strives to educate
the whole child by providing educational
opportunities that nurture each student's
individual gifts. As members of the global
community, we foster life-long learning,
personal responsibility, and emphasize the
importance of Christian service.
Our
Beliefs:
-
Our
Catholic school's priority is the
teaching of the Gospel message of Jesus
Christ and, as such, is an integral part
of our curriculum.
-
Within our
Catholic environment, each student is a
valued individual with unique spiritual,
physical, social, emotional, and
intellectual needs.
-
Students
are to demonstrate their understanding
of essential knowledge, apply their
learning in meaningful contexts, be
actively involved in solving problems,
and produce quality work.
-
Our school
prepares students to become contributing
members of a global community through
service and an education that fosters an
understanding and acceptance of
diversity.
-
It is
essential for students to develop and
accept personal responsibility in
regards to their academics and social
behavior.
-
Student
success can only be realized through a
cooperative relationship between school
and home, accomplished through parental
involvement in the religious and
academic education of their children.
